by Jack Breezley October 30, 2025 5 min read

As we near the start of the season, here is a refresher of the current HAGAN Binding and Ski line up for 2025/2026

Bindings

Have you looked at the number of touring bindings available lately?  It is mind numbing.  HAGAN has hand picked the best bindings to match our ski line up so you can spend more time skiing and less time trying to pick out the slightest detail that is available in one model, but not the other.  We did all the hard work for you!

Pure 8 and Pure 10: Lightest and cheapest (identical to ATK Crest 8/10).

Pin Up 8 and Pin Up 10 EVO: Automatic brake system is easier and you can't forget to release them for the descent (identical to ATK RT8/10 EVO).

Core FR 15 Evo: Our highest release value, full featured touring binding with an adjustable release toe piece. Designed with our patented Elastic Response System, Cam Heel System, and Magneto Heel Climbing Aids, this binding will support all of your hard charging efforts from big faces to big jumps. Includes AL13 Freeride spacer. (identical to ATK Free Raider 15 Evo)

Core 12 EVO: Higher release range and fancier toes than the Pin Ups (identical to ATK Raider 12 Evo).

Grom 5Youth binding. Lightweight, with a release value between 1 an 5 DIN. 50 mm of BSL adjustment for growing feet.

Ultra World CupSpecialty super light race and light touring binding (identical to ATK SL World Cup).

Ultra World Cup BrakeSpecialty super light race binding with a brake. ISMF compliant with the new brake requirement standards implemented in 2020/2021, and which will be enforced by USA Skimo starting in 2024/2025 (identical to ATK Sl World Cup Brake).

Skis

There are so many skis available currently.  HAGAN has kept our ski line simple and sweet.  We understand that we pray for powder every day, you don't necessarily get to ski it every day. We also understand that what goes up must also come down. Our skis are lighter than most for the uphill and tuned for exceptional handling and fun factor for the down.  Enjoy.

PURE:

Our PURE series was engineered for the ski tourer looking for a forgiving, durable, and cost friendly touring ski and experience. Poplar/caruba mixed cores create a forgiving, easy to control ski that remains stable even at high speeds.

Pure 85: A brilliant companion for all snow conditions. It is ideally balanced for the ascent and descent.

Pure 90: A moderately waisted and very agile option, with a modest tour rocker.

Recommended Binding Pairing:

Pure 8/Pure 10.

CORE CARBON:

A versatile all mountain ski series offering optimal climbing and descending across all conditions and terrains. If you are looking for a one ski quiver, that excels in everything from powder to breakable crust, then choose the Core Carbon series.

Core Carbon 84: Suitable for open and demanding terrain, both on and off piste. A rather narrow waist provides critical maneuverability in steep technical descents/couloirs, while its lightweight frame provides lightness for speed and ease on the ascents.

Core Carbon 84 Lite: The Lite version of the CORE CARBON 84, is slimmed down to optimize performance for lighter ski tours (up to approx. 70 kg or 155 lbs). 1090 g at 164 cm and the lightest model in the series.

Core Carbon 89: A true all-mountain touring ski. With a weight of 1250 g at 162 cm, the ski is light enough for the ascent, even for ski tours with lots of vert.  This is our best selling ski worldwide.  It loves to turn and is very lively.

Core Carbon 89 Lite: The Lite version of the CORE CARBON 89, is slimmed down to optimize performance for  lightweight tourers (up to approx. 70 kg or 155 lbs). 1120 g at 162 cm length.

Core Carbon 92: The widest model in the series, optimal for those who focus on the descent in untracked slopes, but still do not want to give up the ease of the ascent.  A tip rocker of 350 mm, ensures optimum buoyancy in powder and flexes its freetour genes.

Recommended Binding Pairing:

Pinup 8/10 EVO or Core 12 Evo if prefer something beefier for descending.

BOOST:

The Boost series is our freeride oriented line. These skis were designed for optimal float and performance in powder but handle extremely well on hard pack.

Boost 105:  This is our widest ski to date at 105mm under foot. Built from 100 years of touring ski development know how, the Boost 105 changes what it means to be a freeride touring ski. Enabling skiers to push the boundaries in the biggest, steepest , and fastest descents, while uncompromising in maneuverability and lightness.  This is our best selling ski in the USA for the 25/26 season.

Boost 99 POW: With a 410 mm tip rocker, and the same carbon reinforced poplar core as in the 94, the ski was designed to perform at the highest speeds and deepest conditions.

Boost 94 POW:  This is the  free tour model that unfolds its full potential at high speeds. Tour our rocker and a wide shovel promise considerable lift in deep snow.

Boost Junior POW: Created with a specialty designed sidecut optimal for young tourers who want to drive a fast, stable ski. 220 mm tip rocker and 76 mm waist.

The BOOST POW Tour Freeride skis stand more than ever for Hagan’s extensive efforts regarding climate protection and sustainability. The family business actively collaborates with "Protect Our Winters" (POW) for responsible handling of natural resources and the mountain world. Protect Our Winters emphasizes the importance of winter and raises awareness of the direct link between winter sports and sustainability. The collaboration between Hagan and POW is boldly underlined by the co-branding of the BOOST POW models.

Recommended Binding Pairing:

The FR 15 Evo is our Freeride oriented, full feature, fast charging binding built to ski as hard as you can. It features a toe release value adjustment. Core 12 EVO is a full feature binding with a standard release value in the toe and heel release value up to 12. Grom 5 for the juniors has 50mm of BSL adjustment.

ULTRA:

Our Ultra line, emphasizes lightness and speed. The skis are engineered for the true ski mountaineer or racer, looking for reliability, stability, and durability, as they climb big peaks and descend tight couloirs. Ultra 65 and 79 for racing and training. Ultra 84 and 89 for big objectives.

Ultra 65: A proven 700 gram 100% race ski with super edge grip for consistent carving and downhill stability.  This is the race ski that lasts more than one season.

Ultra 79: An ascent-oriented touring ski with a center width of only 79 mm, and a weight of 940 g at 164 cm, for advanced skiers, and mountaineers seeking objectives in technical backcountry terrain where being light and fast counts.

Ultra 84: Developed for challenging and particularly long tours - a universal model in the middle of the range for advanced tourers and professionals. Designed for high alpine tours in demanding terrain, while being light enough to be carried on a pack (1050g at 164cm).  Outstanding choice for bagging those PNW Cascade volcanos in the spring time.

Ultra 89: The widest ski in the ULTRA Range, for all ski tourers who want something wider without having too much weight on their feet. Tailored shape for high-alpine terrain, and seeking out the biggest descent objectives.

Recommended Binding Pairing:

Ultra World Cup Brake if pursuing skimo racing. Otherwise choose the Ultra World Cup if you want the lightest setup possible for your objectives, or the Pinup 8/10 Evo if want something with an adjustable release and more riser height options.

Special:

Special Series skis serve the unique needs of our diverse fans.
