    100 years of Ski Mountaineering

This year marks 100 years since Hagan began manufacturing skis in the Austrian Alps. Now a third generation family owned business we've grown immensely since our days bending wood with steam: producing skis, skins, boots, bindings and more, and bringing them to both the European and American markets since 2007. However, our commitment to sharing our love of ski mountaineering, by engineering and providing quality and consistent equipment for our customers, has and will always remain steadfast. We live by the credo established by our founders Franz and Hans Hager back in 1924: "Products made by touring enthusiasts for touring enthusiasts".

As we are constantly striving to improve, we look to utilize our 100 years of ski touring knowledge to build upon the needs and advice of the people like you that use our equipment every day. Following our release of our award winning CORE CARBON and ULTRA lines last year, we can't wait to show what we have been cooking up for this winter!

The ski mountaineering community has shaped us into who we are today. We've been supported, pushed, and motivated by this community to spread our shared passion for the sport. So, it only makes sense to celebrate our 100th birthday with our friends too! On October 24th we are holding Hagan's 100 year birthday party at Outer Range Brewing in Frisco, Colorado. We are collaborating with Outer Range to produce a specialty HAGAN brew, complete with a custom can design by Ben Hogan. Summit Skimo will be doing a raffle for some amazing prizes. HAGAN Athlete Meredith Edwards is doing a presentation on her Denali FKT attempt and we may even have some birthday cake too! Everyone is invited and we look forward to seeing you there!

You don't want to miss our Outer Range colab!
