Over the last two seasons we have revamped our entire product line for the biggest upgrade to the HAGAN backcountry skiing line in our 99-year history.

  • Skis: The Boost, Core and Ultra series skis use our new weight-saving, 3-D tapered rib construction first developed and proved in the Ultra 82. The Ultra 82 was my favorite (non-race) ski. I'm thrilled to see that technology expanded to other skis. I was highly impressed testing the new Boost 89 last spring.
  • Bindings: The Pure 8 and 10 are light, simple, reliable, durable and a great value. The DIN 3-8 range on the Pure 8 makes it an outstanding choice for light and junior skiers. The Pure 8 will be going on my daughter's skis, and I loved the Pure 10 on the Boost 89 I tested. The new Core 12 Pro is amazing - easily the highest performance to weight ratio of any binding. The Boost 12 has the very beneficial, if not immediately obvious, advantages of brakes that retract in a single step while locking the toe and always release.
  • Boots: Redesigned for weight savings and slightly wider toe boxes. The new Core Pro Carbon has an increased range of motion, increased stiffness, increased forward lean and improved liners for better out of the box fit. All fantastic refinements and I particularly appreciate the improved fit for my slightly wide forefoot.
  • Climbing Skins: All skins are completely new – 100% mohair with amazing hybrid glue technology that tremendously eases handling. No struggling to separate, no plastic storage sheets, no re-glueing. Tremendous adhesion proven in North American low temps and humidity. Bungee tips for all but the Boost series skis. The new skins may be my favorite improvement of all!
  • Poles: Finally a pole specifically made for race/light touring – 100% carbon shaft with backcountry nordic baskets. I've bought a lot of poles over the years, and this is the lightest and best pole I've ever had.
  • Warranty: We are so confident in the quality of our skis that we have extended the warranty on manufacturing defects to 3 years, 5 years with registration! (All new 2021 skis minus the Ultra 65.)
