HAGAN Boost Series Skis
The Hagan Boost line is a collection of three hard-charging free tour skis. The Boost Series, offered in 107, 97 and 93 mm waist widths, are built with 3D profiles — a raised central ridge that tapers out towards the ski’s edge for a reduction in swing weight. Tip and tail rocker help float over soft snow and cut through chop, while camber underfoot and carbon stringers provide stability and stiffness, ensuring they rip the hardback. The Boost 107 loves powder. The Boost 107 is the widest of the Boost group, and is built with tour rocker and traditional sidecut and camber to help maintain power through the turn while deflecting crud and variable snow conditions. The combination of carbon, tri-axle fiber and paulownia in the core pumps up the liveliness while keeping the skis steady and stable. At only 1580 grams in the 181 cm length and a wide 140/107/122, the Boost 107 tempts you to high-speed, powerful skiing and extra long turns. That’s a temptation with a sweet reward.
The Boost 107 has long 390mm front/150mm rear tour rocker and comes in 172, 181 and 190cm lengths. The Boost 107 is Hagan’s widest ski mountaineering ski with one of our highest surface area to weight ratios.
The Boost 107 pairs a wide, deep parabolic shovel with a relatively narrow waist and tail for exceptional maneuverability in both fresh powder and chopped chunder. The exceptionally low width to surface area saves energy on climbs while providing exceptional float.
